Advanced Resistance Temperature Detector

Eureka Engineering Enterprises, temperature measurement and control systems specialist, has introduced a Resistance Temperature Detector (RTD), which is a device with a significant temperature coefficient (that is, its resistance varies with temperature). The RTD comes with temperature indicating transmitter which can be used as a temperature measurement device, usually by passing a low-level current through it and measuring the voltage drop.

Eureka's RTD comes with significant advantages over its competitors such as a significant reduction in the cost of RTD wire especially when the control room is far from the point of application. It also provides protection from EMI and RF noise and elimination of ground loop inaccuracies which are some of the biggest problems when it comes to working with RTDs. Fitted with a PT-100 sensor which provides highly accurate results, and with a working temperature range of -200 to 300 degrees Celsius, it can work even in the toughest conditions. It is also relatively easy to use with a 4-digit bright LED display which can clearly be viewed even in the dark. These advantages make Eureka RTD a very efficient and cost-effective product with a strong set of features which makes it one of the best in the field.

Founded in 2000 Eureka Engineering Enterprises, an ISO certified company, has been a leading manufacturer of temperature sensing and control systems for the last two decades. Its product portfolio includes Resistance Temperature Detectors (RTDs), Thermocouples (J, K, R, S, T, E, and B types), Thermowells (Bar stock, Fabricated and Customized) and much more.
